Kim Kardashian's ex Ray J 'to Throw a $30,000 Birthday Party For His Dog 'Boogotti'

As Kim Kardashian rents out an entire sports arena for her rapper husband Kanye West's 38th birthday her ex is also throwing a bash - for his pet dog.

Ray J, who starred with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians beauty in their infamous 2003 sex tape, is reportedly treating his adorable pooch to a no expense spared celebration which will also include a rep carpet.

The 34-year-old musician is said to be splashing out $30,000, or more than £19,000, on a special event for Boogotti the Maltese at the Petrock Hotel and Spa in Encino, California.

According to TMZ, as well as food for the human guests, there will also be a dog treat station and a special cake for Boogotti's canine pals to tuck into.

Ray J took to Instagram to say: "I'm having a big party event for #boogotti 2nd bday!! Next weekend! But you have to bring a dog-- more info on the way-- it's gonna be sexy and fun!!"

He continued: "Workin on New Flyers for boogottis 2nd bday party- I'm doing it on the 13th now because people need more time to RSVP and fly in town."
